Welcome to The Rehab Loft

Client Information

Thank you for booking an appointment at The Rehab Loft. This page tells you all you need to know about what to expect for your first appointment.

Clinic Details

Address: The Rehab Loft,

Kingscote First Floor (Unit A-B),

Priory Park, Tetbury,

GL8 8HZ

We are located at the Priory Park Industrial Estate, Tetbury. This is the industrial estate adjacent to Tescos. We are on the same site and to the left of PD Fitness. We are well sign posted (see map below).

Parking Information

The Rehab Loft has 4 on site designated spaces opposite the clinic entrance that are well sign posted. Unfortunately, these spaces can be inappropriately occupied by other site users therefore you may have to use Tescos car park just next door. Parking at Tescos is free for up to 2 hours and there is a path directly from the car park to the clinic on Priory Park.

On arrival

Please enter the clinic via the door that is located directly under the The Rehab Loft sign and make your way up the stairs to the FIRST FLOOR. We only ask that you are quiet as you go up the stairs in respect for our ground floor neighbour, Cotswolds Counselling.

If you are early for your appointment, your clinician may still be treating another client. In this instance, on entering, please make yourself comfortable in our designated waiting area which is located to the left hand side of the clinic, just outside of the clinic rooms. Your therapist will be out to welcome you as soon as they are able.

What to expect at your first appointment.

 *Please come appropriately dressed for your appointment so that the relevant area can be adequately assessed*

Assessment

During your first appointment, your therapist will need to carry out a full assessment in order to fully understand your problem and therefore provide you with an appropriate treatment plan. This will involve a series of questions and tests. Your therapist will ask for you to verbally consent to any assessment and treatment procedures. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and terminate the assessment and / or treatment.

Treatment

During your first appointment, and on the back of your assessment, your therapist will provide you with a potential diagnosis as well as agree both a short and long term treatment plan with you. Where there is time, they will aim to initiate an appropriate treatment modality during your first appointment and provide you with a home exercise programme as part of your long term treatment plan. Compliance to treatment involves adhering to your home exercise programme as advised. Depending on your problem, your treatment may include any of the following modalities:

* Exercises (clinic room or gym based)

* Sports Massage

* Pilates

* Acupuncture

* Kinesiotape or general taping

* Manual Therapy

* Home Exercise Programme

* Advice and Education

Any outcomes and potential risks associated with the proposed treatment will be discussed and agreed between yourself and your therapist prior to the initiation of any treatment.

Your therapist will then book you in for a follow up consultation within an appropriate timeframe so as to continue your treatment.
